Lucky for vegan all-stars, dairy-free pizza options are everywhere these days, from supermarkets to pizzerias (after all, 20,000 eateries offer Daiya cheese!). Now, Whole Foods in-house brand, 365 Everyday Value®, has released its very own frozen vegan pizza.
“Our shoppers love Whole Foods Market for its vegan selection, which is why we are excited to introduce the 365 Everyday Value Vegan Pizza to our line-up!” Emily Wright, manager of the 365 Everyday Value® brand, tells Latest Vegan News. “Our frozen 365 Everyday Value Pizzas have been really popular, and we definitely felt a need to include a vegan option in the mix.”
The pizza is made with whole wheat flour and topped with olives, tomatoes, and Daiya mozzarella shreds.
Other vegan additions to the 365 line in recent years include meatless meatballs, organic vegan lasagna, and chickenless breaded nuggets.
In addition, many (if not most) Whole Foods locations are able to create vegan options at the in-house pizza bar. “I’d encourage your readers to ask the Team Members at their pizza counter what they can do,” a Whole Foods rep adds.
