Cowspiracy is a groundbreaking documentary—a film that shatters illusions about everything we thought we knew about environmental sustainability. And starting today, in honor of Earth Day, you can watch it online for just $1.

The flick, created by Kip Andersen and Keegan Kuhn, is all about the massive environmental impact of animal agriculture, and the fact that no one—including most major environmental groups—is talking about it.

The creators started a Thunderclap campaign to get as many people as possible to watch the film, hence the $1 offer.

If you haven’t seen it, now’s your chance. To redeem the offer, visit Cowspiracy.com. At the top of the page is a yellow banner that reads “Click here to get Cowspiracy for $1.”

This offer is only available for a week, so don’t miss out. Maybe host a screening for friends and loved ones, complete with vegan snacks? This is, after all, need-to-know information. Just a few of the facts revealed in the flick include:

  • Livestock and their byproducts account for at least 32,000 million tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year, or 51% of all worldwide greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Animal agriculture water consumption ranges from 34-76 trillion gallons annually.
  • 2,500 gallons of water are needed to produce 1 pound of beef.
  • Watch Cowspiracy online for $1 for more.
