Vegan Cinnamon Roll Bakery Announces 25 Franchise Locations Across the U.S.; May Expand Overseas
Vegan cinnamon rolls may be coming to a city near you. Cinnaholic, the uber-popular plant-based pastry brand, has announced 25 new franchise locations across the U.S.
Known for its doughy, customizable sticky buns with toppings like blackberry frosting, marshmallows, chocolate chips and dozens more, the company achieved mainstream fame when founders Shannon and Florian Radke appeared on Shark Tank last year.
The Berkeley, California-based company announced its first round of franchise partners back in April, and now the brand is expanding even further. They’ve signed an additional four franchisees in Dallas, one in Anaheim and 10 in Atlanta, totaling 25.
“It has been a crazy wild ride so far,” says Shannon in a press release, “and I am beyond excited to see my recipe and idea come to life all over the country.”
The Southlake, Texas, store has an estimated opening date of September 25. Ocean City, Maryland, will also be open for business soon. With the new additions, Cinnaholic will have stores in a total of six states: California, Texas, Maryland, Delaware, Georgia, and North Carolina.
The future looks bright for the plant-based brand.
“We will open five locations by the end of 2015 and 10 to 20 in 2016. We are looking at international deals as well in Canada, Australia and parts of the Far East,” a rep from Cinnaholic told Latest Vegan News.
Because who in the world doesn’t love an ooey, gooey (cruelty-free) cinnamon roll?
Bring some of those rolls to the Phoenix area and Montana up by Glacier National Park please.
