Blue Bunny, a popular ice cream brand found in freezer cases from coast to coast, has dipped its toes cones into the non-dairy market.
The brand is now testing four vegan ice cream options in select markets across the U.S. The flavors include vanilla, chocolate, mint chocolate chip and mocha fudge, and the products started hitting shelves last month.
Blue Bunny tells Latest Vegan News that the products are available in the following locations/stores: Dallas (Kroger), Denver (King Soopers), Omaha (Fareway, HyVee, No Frills/Bag ‘N Save), Des Moines (Fareway, HyVee) and Houston (Kroger).
The dairy-free products are cholesterol-free, lactose-free and a source of calcium. The brand has long since offered a line of FrozFruit bars, which are also dairy-free.
No word yet on the brand’s plans to expand beyond the current markets in the mix, but we’ll keep you updated.
