Dorn announced on Twitter this week that he’s vegan—unlike his favorite character, who had a thing for Klingon Blood Wine and gagh (live serpent worms).
The announcement inspired a flood of comments via Twitter, and some choice replies by Dorn himself. Even PETA weighed in on the conversation.
Dorn even offer words of encouragement to a Twitter user who said he’d been thinking about taking the leap. “In your own time. Just do one thing healthier one week. Add another the next week. Doesn’t have to be all at once,” he replied.
He also offered a reply to one snarky commenter who said: “klingons cant be vegan bro.” Dorn replied: “Not an actual Klingon though. Bro.” Because while Klingons may need to eat meat, humans certainly don’t.
