Go Stuff Yourself at This New Vegan Taco Spot That’s About to Open Its First U.S. Location
Everyone knows vegan tacos are the best tacos, and soon you can stuff yourself silly at the entirely plant-based, Mexico-born spot: Charly’s Vegan Tacos.
The mouthwatering eatery opened its first location in Tulum, Mexico, and is now coming to Miami, Florida, with its first U.S. outpost.
So why did Charly decide to come north? “We want to show the real flavors of Mexican food to the U.S. with none of the traditional cruelty,” founder Charly Garcia told Some Girl’s Vegan News.
All the deliciousness, none of the dead animals. WIN.
The joint will be located in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood, a hotspot for art, food, and hipster culture.
As far as what to order when you’re faced with the epic deliciousness of the menu: “The porkless cracklings won the peopleβs choice award at LAβs Best Vegan Tacos this year,” says Charly. The lineup includes main courses, bowls, cold sides, hot sides, cocktails (mezcal mojito anyone?) and desserts.
Taco filling options include the cracklings, pastor style mushrooms, rajas poblanas, and soyrizo and cheese. The menu also includes a kale salad, a cobb salad, and starters including a fried plantain banana, guaca-mango, Charly’s aguachile, and nachos machos (YUM).
Everything — including sauces, fillings, and even corn tortillas — is homemade. This is legit taco magic.
So if you’re a vegan taco queen or king (like some of us), get ready to hit up Charly’s Vegan Tacos in MIA when it opens in the summer. And seriously, who couldn’t use a trip to Miami? It’s vegan paradise these days y’all.
