As of this week, the Humane Research Council wants you to call it by a different name: Faunalytics.
Why the change? The term faunalytics means “the science of logical analysis as it relates to animal life,” so that’s a pretty apt moniker for the organization, which specializes in research designed to assist animal advocates.
The nonprofit group conducts opinion polls, audience surveys and more, reporting on topics like why people choose to be vegetarian, the disconnect between pets and farmed animals, and more.
The new site includes a library of research materials, plus new and improved “research summaries, better research alerts, easier options for sharing and saving articles, an updated Animal Tracker graphing tool (coming soon!),” and other additions, says the organization.
Faunalytics offers discounted and pro bono research and services, all tailored to make the life of animal activistss a little easier. Check out the new site at Faunalytics.org.
