It’s almost fall, which means pumpkin spice latte season is imminent. Sadly, Starbucks’ version of the seasonal treat isn’t vegan-friendly … but Califia Farms’ is!
The company’s cold brew, almond milk PSL is on store shelves as of this week.
“We brought this ‘cult classic’ back because it really struck a chord last fall – in fact it sold out quickly!” says Kaitlin Walter of Califia.
“We expect to see the same this year as pre-orders are already surpassing 2014 by 20%, and we have a resounding thumbs up from thousands of our social media followers. Additionally, with the growing number of consumers looking for healthy, plant-based coffee options, our Pumpkin Spice Latte fits the bill with real pumpkin puree.”
The drink can be found nationally at Whole Foods Markets, as well as in Safeway, Albertsons, Fairway, Lucky’s, and Fresh Direct stores, among others.
The vegan pumpkin spice latte will be available through December 1st (a longer time frame than previously, since they sold out so quickly last year).
