Clearly, Beyonce has helped bring veganism into the mainstream. While vegan in diet only, Queen Bey is at least raising awareness about plant-based eating, and she’s particularly keen on encouraging fans to adopt her 22 Days Nutrition vegan challenge.
The latest to give it a go are two editors at Billboard Magazine, Denise Warner and Erika Ramirez.
These participants admittedly embarked on the experiment for the weight loss or health benefits (versus any ethical reasons), but eating fewer animal products and more plants is a positive development regardless of the reason.
The two women are publishing daily results, including how they feel, how much weight they’ve lost, etc., at Billboard.com.
