And now, more than half of those products are vegan, the company says. Better still, it just released seven new animal-free items, from a breakfast scramble to a curry to a pesto pizza.
“At Amy’s, we listen closely to all of our customers and always have. We really do read all of our customer requests,” a company rep told Latest Vegan News. “We have had many product requests from vegans and they have inspired our product innovation. Of our current 250 products, now over half are vegan.”
The company’s seven new vegan products include:
All of the above items are also gluten-free.
“We always consider the option of making some of our new items also available in gluten free or vegan. A good example is our new vegan enchilada,” the rep added.
Amy’s Kitchen products are available at hundreds of retailers, from Walmart to Target to Whole Foods.

This is great news. I just wish my H.E.B. in South Texas would stock more vegan product.
HEB was never very progressive, nor did it carry a large selection of anything.
Try ordering online, for delivery. There are sites such as vegan essentials, that may deliver in the South.
I have never found 125 Amy's vegan offerings anywhere.
I wish they'd make vegan versions of traditional American meals, and kid's meals.
They do make some kid's meals, but they are very rare to find anywhere.
I wish they'd make some non GMO breaded "nuggets, in vegan & organic marinara dipping sauce, with non GMO corn, vegan fruit dessert, and perhaps a small side of their vegan mac & cheeze.
Another vegan kid's dinner, could be the vegan mac & cheeze, vegan fruit dessert, GMO free corn, and vegan ice cream or something.
Another, could be "noodles stroganoph", with veganic noodles, in a veganic gravy (no GMO cornstarch), possibly with mushrooms, with, organic mixed vegetables and vegan cheezecake, or pecan coffee cake.
Another, could be a veganized thanksgiving dinner, with maybe shaved portabella mushroom, in a gravy made with wine, or balsamic vinigar in it, mashed potatoes, candied yams, with ground pecan glaze, or vegan pumpkin pie, with cranberry cobbler.
Most of Amy's offerings, are foreign dishes, based on Mexican, Asian, or Indian cuisine, that may not appeal to general Americans.
And more often than not, many of their dishes are NOT vegan, the spaghetti, has meatballs on it, there is cheese in many, many of the dishes, even on a vegetable lasagna.
Amy's IS the only vegan frozen meals, or meal elements, that states GMO free.
ALL of the others, I assume have hidden GMO ingredients. They may say "made with organic soy". but what about the corn derived ingredients, like corn starch, corn syrup, dextrose, sugar (beet sugar), etc.
If they're going to bother saying "made with organic soy", then why can't the whole thing be organic?
I love that Amy's doesn't have a bunch of boring foods. Chicken nuggets and thanksgiving dinner? Lol. I'm sorry that the company doesn't completely cater to "general americans" like yourself as opposed to Americans who just so happen to be Mexican, Asian, Indian, or accustomed to foods that don't sound like school lunch or Kid's Cuisine.
